What is Memxus?
The name behind the memory layer.
The name
Memxus comes from two ideas fused into one word.
Mem — from memory. The ability to retain what matters: context, decisions, preferences, history. The things you shouldn't have to repeat every time you open a new chat.
Nexus — from the Latin nexus, meaning connection or binding. The point where separate things meet and share meaning.
Together: Memxus is the memory layer that connects your AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Slack, and any other app that needs memory — into a single, coherent context. One place where everything you've told any AI is available to all of them.
Not a chatbot. Not an extension. A connective layer for the AI tools you already use.
Why we built it
Every AI tool has its own memory — and none of them talk to each other. You repeat yourself constantly. Your project context in ChatGPT doesn't reach Claude. What you told Cursor yesterday is gone today.
We built Memxus because the problem isn't the AI tools — it's the gap between them. Memxus fills that gap.
